All domestic flights to and from Mumbai will operate from Terminal 2, starting April 21. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) had moved low cost airlines and a few IndiGo flights to Terminal 1 only in March. Due to the state’s Section 144 imposition, Air Asia, GoAir, Star Air, TruJet, and some IndiGo flights will now operate from T2 instead of T1.
Confirming the same, the CSMIA spokesperson said: “In light of the latest developments in the current pandemic situation, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to consolidate all currently operated domestic passenger flights. via terminal 1. As of April. On February 21, 2021, CSMIA will conduct all international and domestic air operations through its iconic Advanced Terminal 2. All GoAir, Star Air, Air Asia, TruJet and IndiGo passengers are kindly requested to contact the respective airlines for further information. . ”

“In these difficult times, the CSMIA has worked closely with its stakeholders and relevant regulatory and government agencies to curb the spread of the virus. The airport strictly adheres to all guidelines established by the Ministry of Civil Aviation as well as the government of Maharashtra, ”the spokesperson added.
Operations in T1 have been temporarily suspended and have been consolidated through Terminal 2 since the national lockdown in March 2020. As of March 10, the airport resumed operations from T1, which means GoAir, Star Air , Air Asia and Trujet started their operations from Terminal 1. Most of IndiGo’s flight operations continued to be managed from Terminal 2, with the exception of a few basic flights.
