Dubai: Admission ticket prices for Expo 2020, the world’s largest cultural exhibition after the expansion of Kovid, have been announced. The rate is 95 dirhams per person. The six-month pass for the Expo, which runs from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, costs 495 dirhams. Tickets will be available worldwide on expo2020dubai.com from July 18.

Admission is free for those under 18 and people with disabilities. Those accompanying them will get a 50 per cent discount on the ticket price. Free for anyone over the age of 60 and students from any educational institution in the world with a student ID. A multi-entry pass of 195 dirhams is also available for multiple visits. It can be used for 30 consecutive days.

Admission tickets are available for pavilions, events, live performances and entertainment. There will be over 60 different live events each day, including world class music, dance, art, lectures and National Day celebrations. Reem Al Nashimi, Director General of Expo 2020 and UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, said that the two days of the Expo will not be the same and that the exhibition will become a hub for creativity and innovation.

In addition to the official website, tickets are available from 2,500 authorized ticket retailers, including online travel agents, tour operators, hotel groups and airlines. The first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia will be held in Dubai from October 1 this year to March 31, 2022.

According to the organizers, the security arrangements have been made at the Expo as a mega event in the background of Kovid. Arrangements have been made here, including sanitation centers. The UAE Ministry of Health is working with the World Health Organization on the project. The organizers said that to ensure the Kovid free expo, the entire staff, officials and other employees associated with the expo have been guaranteed free vaccines.
