Former US President Donald Trump urged his successor Joe Biden to reinstate the travel ban in certain Muslim countries in order to protect the country from “radical Islamic terrorism”.
“If Joe Biden is to protect our country from radical Islamic terrorism, he should restore the travel ban to foreign countries and all screening requirements for those seeking admission that go with it, as well as the refugee restrictions that go with it. I have successfully implemented it, ”Trump said in a statement Monday.

Trump had imposed a travel ban from several Muslim countries, including Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. However, Biden lifted the ban after taking office.
