Director Vetrimaran launches free film training program Cinema | Deshabhimani

Chennai: Veteran filmmaker Vetrimaran has set up a film training center at the International Institute of Film and Culture (IIFC). The training will be provided free of cost to eligible young men and women between the ages of 21 and 25 who are socially and economically backward.

Food and accommodation are provided to each student with 100% subsidy. Eligibility for admission is a degree in a non-media subject. Students will be selected through a five-stage qualifying examination.
