Soumya Swaminathan said it was illogical for some countries to exclude Covshield from their vaccine passport program. She said the approval of the vaccine would allow uninterrupted travel during outbreaks.
They also said that the astrazene vaccine was completely technical because it was available in another brand in Europe. She said the World Health Organization was in talks with the European Medical Regulator to include Covshield in the vaccine passport. He said a decision on Kovacs’ approval would be made by the second week of August.
