“I think we tried our best to win. They scored a great goal but the first one was a mistake on our part. They had more possession but we didn’t get that much ball. It’s a shame. It’s always disappointing to be out,” de Bruyne added.
Kevin de Bruyne is injured in the match against Portugal. The seriousness of the game against Italy will only be known once the player completes his post-Manchester City trials.
