NEW DELHI: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is ready to launch its Housing plan 2021 on Saturday and on offer are a total of 1,354 apartments of different categories. These also include the more expensive apartments DDA has already sold – Rs 2.1 crore for a three bedroom apartment in the Upper Income Group (HIG) in Jasola.
The authority said that the housing program will be launched on January 2, 2021, and applications under this program will be received until February 16, 2021. The program includes 1,354 apartments, of which 254 are HIG apartments spread over 162 at 167 square meters and costing between Rs 1.9 and 2.1 crore. Of these, 215 apartments are located in Jasola, near Jasola Vihar-Shaheen Bagh Delhi metro station.

The most expensive apartments sold by DDA to date were the HIG Rs 1.7 crore apartments in the Vasant Kunj F block, which was part of the housing program launched in 2019.
The total number of two bedroom apartments of the Middle Income Group (MIG) is 757, of which 352 are located in the Dwarka 19-B sector and 348 in the Dwarka 16-B sector, spread over 120 to 130 square meters with price between Rs 1.1 and 1.2 crore. There are also other MIG apartments located in areas like Vasant Kunj.
Although DDA officials said earlier that there would be no one-bedroom apartments, belonging to the Low Income Group (LIG), the final project has 52 of them and spread across several locations in the capital. , including Rohini, Dwarka Sector-23, Kondli Gharoli and Narela. . The area of ​​these apartments varies between 33 and 47 square meters and the price varies between Rs 21.4 and Rs 23.5 lakh. There are also 276 apartments for the economically weaker sections, located at Manglapuri in Dwarka that are part of the project.
“All apartments are fully built and ready for disposal. The build quality of the apartments is on par with NCR’s top private developers, the location is extremely good and they are all freehold properties, ”said a DDA official.
The program will be launched online using DDA’s new “AWAAS” software.
