Exemption for five categories of compulsory hotel quarantine system for foreign travelers to Kuwait. The circular was issued by the Directorate of Civil Aviation on Tuesday.
The DGCA has issued a new circular exempting travelers arriving in Kuwait from foreign countries for fourteen days at one of the hotels selected by the Ministry of Health, with the exception of five categories. According to this, diplomats from all countries and their spouses and children. Concessions will be available on quarantine for domestic workers accompanying diplomats. Concessions are also available for Kuwaiti nationals and their companions returning from treatment abroad. A certificate from the Kuwait Health Office in the country of treatment should be produced.
The third category of exemptions are Indigenous students returning from foreign universities after examinations. Exemption is available on presentation of a University Certificate revealing the date of the examination and a certificate from the Kuwait Cultural Office. According to the DGCA circular, hotel quarantine is not required for government and private sector health workers, their first degree family members and employees who are traveling alone and under the age of eighteen.
Those in the above five categories should be monitored at home for fourteen days. You will also need to have a PCR check twice at your own expense. The inspection is carried out as soon as the aircraft lands and the quarantine is completed within six days. The DGCA also said that registration should be done in the clonic application of the Ministry of Health.
