Thiruvananthapuram: State Police Chief Anil Kant says it is a crime to speak using Bluetooth / hands free devices while driving. The DGP clarified this at a press conference. Earlier, it was reported that the traffic police were preparing to take stern action against those who talk on mobile phones through Bluetooth while driving. This is what the DGP clarified. He said the safety of women and children would be given more consideration and action on domestic violence complaints would be strengthened.
