Sreeja was found hanging inside the house around 8 pm on Sunday. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kottiyam but succumbed to his injuries. According to the police, her husband Gopu went out to buy milk at 7 pm. When he returned, he found her hanging in the work area. He was rushed to hospital with the help of locals. Gopu’s elderly father was the only one at home.
The inquest proceedings were completed on Monday in the presence of the RDO. Kovid confirmed this during an autopsy at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. Kovid was infected three months ago but after treatment Kovid was free. The postmortem was conducted at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital on Tuesday. Kovid was cremated at the Thiruvananthapuram Peace Gate at 5 pm following the norms. Brother: Sharan. Kottiyam police registered a case.
