Action against 263 people for violating Kovid law in Qatar

Doha: The Interior Ministry has stepped up checks to find those violating the Corona virus prevention measures in Qatar. A total of 263 people have been booked for various offenses.

A total of 256 people were arrested for not wearing masks in public. Action was also taken against those who traveled in excess of the allowable number in the vehicle. Only four people are allowed to travel in a car, including members of the same family or the driver. Action was taken against five persons for non-compliance with social distance and one person for breach of quarantine terms. The prosecution has been tasked with taking further action against the thousands arrested in the raids so far. Authorities demanded that all precautionary measures be taken to effectively control the spread of corona virus in the country.
